1. About this Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Zeta Energy Corp. (“Zeta Energy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit zetaenergy.com (the “Site”). It describes what these technologies are, which ones we use and why, how long they last, and how you can control them. In short: we use only the technologies needed to run the Site and remember your privacy choices, plus basic analytics to understand how the Site is used. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not personalize content or ads. Any optional technology stays off until you agree to it. This Cookie Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains more broadly how we collect, use, and protect personal information.
2. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your computer, phone, or tablet when you visit it. They let the website recognise your device and remember information, such as your preferences, between page views or visits. Similar technologies work in a comparable way. They include local storage (information saved in your browser by a website), as well as scripts, tags, and pixels that read or collect information from your device. In this Policy, “cookies” includes these similar technologies unless we say otherwise. Cookies and similar technologies can be described in a few ways: first-party or third-party; session or persistent; and necessary or optional. First-party technologies are set by the website you are visiting, while third-party technologies are set or used by another company. Session technologies are deleted when you close your browser; persistent technologies stay on your device for a set period or until you delete them. Necessary technologies are needed for a website to work or to respect your choices, while optional technologies are used only if you agree.
3. How we use cookies and similar technologies
We keep the technologies on our Site to a minimum. At present, the Site uses them for three purposes only: to run the Site through the Framer platform, which delivers the pages, images, and fonts you see; to remember your cookie choices in your browser; and to understand how the Site is used through Framer Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics service that provides aggregated information such as visitor numbers and popular pages. We do not use advertising, retargeting, or social media tracking technologies; technologies to personalise the content or ads you see; or technologies that sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. If we run an advertising campaign in the future and need campaign-measurement tools, we will add them to a separate Advertising category. Those tools will stay switched off unless you choose to allow them, and we will update this Policy before they are used.
4. Categories we use
At present, our Site relies solely on essential operational mechanisms alongside Framer’s privacy-focused, cookie-free analytics suite. We refrain from deploying optional tracking tools or commercial advertising cookies.
5. Technologies currently used on the Site
To store your decision when choosing to accept or decline cookies, the cookie banner uses first-party browser storage. Because this function enables the Site to remember your preference and prevents the banner from displaying repeatedly, it is deemed strictly necessary. Zeta Energy maintains this preference via the Framer cookie banner, retaining the saved setting until you update your selection or reset your browser’s storage. Framer Analytics is a privacy-friendly service from Framer B.V. that delivers high-level aggregated metrics, including overall view counts, referring pages, device classifications, and general geographical region. Designed as a cookie-free tool, Framer Analytics stores no persistent identifiers or cookies on your local device. We currently refrain from deploying commercial retargeting, social media pixel tracking, or marketing cookies. Should we incorporate these mechanisms at a later date, this Cookie Policy and our consent interface will be modified prior to deployment.
6. Your choices and how to change them
When you first visit the Site, the cookie banner allows you to accept or decline optional technologies. We do not currently use optional analytics or advertising trackers, so making either choice will not activate any advertising or personalized-content technologies. Your choice is saved in your browser so that the banner does not appear on every visit. You can revisit your choice through the Cookie Settings link in the footer. If we introduce optional analytics or advertising technologies in the future, we will update this Policy and the cookie banner and request consent where required before those technologies are activated.
7. Browser settings and privacy signals
You can also control cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Most browsers let you view, delete, or block them. These settings work separately from our cookie banner. Blocking strictly necessary technologies may stop parts of the Site from working, and deleting your browser’s storage will also delete your saved cookie choices. Instructions are available for Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, and Microsoft Edge. Global Privacy Control (GPC) can tell websites you do not want your personal information sold or shared for targeted advertising. We do not sell or share personal information in this way. If we introduce advertising technologies, we will treat a GPC signal as a request to opt out of them where required by law. There is no agreed industry standard for responding to “Do Not Track” signals, so the Site does not respond to them. You can use our cookie banner or GPC instead.
8. Third-party providers and international transfers
The provider listed in Section 5 helps us run the Site. Framer B.V. provides hosting and analytics on our behalf. Some of our service providers may process information in the United States, the European Union, or other countries outside the country in which you are located. Where required by applicable data protection law, appropriate safeguards are used for international transfers of personal information. Please see our Privacy Policy for further information.
9. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we change the technologies on the Site, or when the law or our practices change. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If we add a new optional category or make a significant change, we will ask for your consent again where required.
